20 + years experience working in the Equine industry as a Qualified Instructor, equine rehabilitation & with equine athletes in a variety of industries, provides understanding of the balance and biomechanics needed in the unity between horse, saddle and rider.
Being a horse owner my self, for most of my life, means I know how important your horses welfare is to you. Saddle fitting plays a vital role in their welfare and the relationship you have with your horse. A well fitting saddle is crucial in the prevention of injury and pain associated behaviour.
Clients have the free access to connect to the latest technology in saddle fitting. Templating and notes are in put at the time of appointment in the specially designed XL Equigate tablet and allow for detailed reports to be sent directly to the client, these can then be shared with other professionals.
What a Saddle Fit Consultation Involves

When booking an appointment some information will be taken regarding the upcoming fitting.

Photos may be requested if a new saddle is required and then a selection can be brought to the appointment.

Details of the horses history and health will be taken. For rehabilitation cases I am able to work with your vet or physio to ensure the best outcome is achieved.

Saddle Fitting Consultations are detailed in content and can take up to 1hr 30 mins if trying different saddles, please have adequate time set aside for the full appointment.

Owners will need to be able to trot up and ride their horse on the day, this may include adjustments and additional remounting may be needed.

If the horses own saddle is being checked please ensure that all of their normal equipment and tack is available.

Static and dynamic fits will be carried out, the owner will be given feedback and a plan going forwards.
